  • Be sure to double-check all closets, drawers, and cupboards are completely empty.
  • Does a friend or relative know your route to your new home in case of an emergency?
  • If you are loading a truck yourself, be sure to have enough moving blankets, hand truck, and appliance dollies for moving day.
